Toyin Adeyeye was freed on Saturday night on administrative bail, after being in police detention from Friday up till Saturday night
On Friday 17 March 2017, Policemen attached to the Ekiti State Police Command on assaulted and detained a nursing mother, Toyin Adeleye, alongside her two-month-old baby, Heritage and younger brother, Adeniyi Dada after she reportedly refused to give bribe to policemen at a checkpoint in Ado Ekiti.
