As reported by FyneFace Dumnamene from Rivers State
''I was on the field today to see what is happening in a bush market area at the boundary between Rivers State and Abia State by the Etche LGA area. Police were seen collecting bribes and letting vehicles in as against Lock down order by the Governor over COVID-19.
People where seen buying and selling without observing Social Distancing. I was told by some of the market women who do not want to be videoed that Police had earlier in the day been arresting three to four woman at a time as it would contain in their vehicle, take them away for violating market closure directive and collecting between N3,000 and N5,000 from each of them to free them. They said this exercise was repeated by the Police many times till they made enough money and stopped arresting people.''
