The Journalists – Nnamdi Okonya of Silverbirds TV, Tope Kuteyi of Channels TV and Obioma Oburuoga of AIT – who tried mediating in the dispute were later served their own share as the security operatives demanded their identity cards and started beating them after the journalists attempted a video recording of the bribe extortion scene.
