Tensions have risen at the National Assembly as protesters clash with police, after tear gas was fired to disperse the crowd.
A video cited by our reporter captured protesters running from the fumes, with voices shouting, “They don shoot tear gas,” and “They shot it directly at the people.”
Others were also heard saying, “We no go gree o.”
DAILY POST earlier reported that Protesters on Tuesday returned to the National Assembly Complex for the second consecutive day, intensifying calls for real-time transmission of election results from polling units to the Independent National Electoral Commission’s IREV portal.
