Imo state activist and national coordinator of the Imo Bilie Initiative for Social Justice, Aku Obidinma, better known as Abdul spent his Christmas in prison long after fulfilling bail conditions given by a magistrate court in Imo state. Aku Obidinma was reportedly arrested by operatives of the Department of State Services allegedly over a running media battle with the Imo State Deputy Governor, Eze Madumere.
