#EndBadGovernanceProtest: 50 Protesters in Police Net for Breakdown of Law in Nasarawa

The Nasarawa State Command of the Nigeria Police Force says, it has arrested 50 protesters on the first day of the End Bad governance protest for allegedly causing the breakdown of law and order and for attacking it personnel on duty.

Ramhan Nansel, the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), who made the disclosure in an interview with newsmen in Lafia, said the arrest was specifically made in four local government areas of the state.

According to the PPRO, 25 were arrested in Lafia the state capital, 16 in Karu, six in Keffi, and three in Mararaba Udege of Nasarawa local government.

He explained that, the suspects were currently in their custody for further interrogation and investigation.
