October 1, 2024 - Nigeria Patriotic Front Movement Chairman, Abdulmajid, 4 Other Members Arrested By Police In Kano Regain Freedom
The Nigeria Police Force has released five members of the Nigeria Patriotic Front Movement (NPFM) arrested on Monday in Kano State, SaharaReporters has learnt.
On Monday, SaharaReporters reported that members of NPFM including its National Chairman, Comrade Abdulmajid Yakubu Daudu, had been arrested and detained by the police in Kano State.
The activists were arrested and detained after honouring an invitation by the state police commissioner, CP Salman Dogo Garba, for a meeting at 2 pm on Monday.
However, SaharaReporters learnt on Tuesday night that all activists had been released and in good health condition.
"Our comrades are all released and in good condition. They are in sound health and mind. We just spoke on the phone now they will be back in Kano tomorrow," a member of NPFM told SaharaReporters.
