Guinean justice acquits activist Abdourahmane Sano
In Guinea, activist Abdourahmane Sano was acquitted this Wednesday morning, January 11, by the Mafanco Court of First Instance in Conakry. The former national coordinator of the FNDC appeared before the Mafanco Court of First Instance on Monday. He is accused of " criminal participation in public meetings ."
The prosecutor accused Abdourahmane Sano of attending an undeclared meeting in the suburbs of Conakry. He requested an 18-month suspended prison sentence for the activist.
