Journalist and Newspaper Publisher, Nsibiet John was arrested, detained and charged to court for alleged criminal defamation and sedition. Mr Nsibiet John was charged for publishing a story in his local news medium, The Ink alleging that the state deputy governor ‘pockets’ N250 million naira monthly as security vote. He was granted bail to the tune of N250,000.
