DIGITAL SECURITY CLINIC FOR CIVIC SPACE ACTORS IN WEST AFRICA
The Digital Security Clinic for Civic Space Actors in West Africa will be held in Abuja from 27th-28th July 2022. This training, much more than focusing on just safety and risk mitigation in a digital world, is designed to help CSOs and civic space actors understand these threats globally and within their own contexts, to review the nature, framework and mitigation approaches that exist as well as to learn practical safety mechanisms and measures. The goal is that participants’ knowledge of the challenges will first influence their sphere of practice and shape the design of interventions for the community of practice and secondly equip them with practical skills for taking charge of their own safety.
