Description

Pro-government blogger, Abubakar Usman, the publisher of Abusidiqu.com was arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over a report he (Magu) wrote against the chairman of the EFCC. On the contrary, the Spokesperson of the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren noted that the blogger was arrested for cyberstalking, without further explanation.

The report for which Abubakar Usman was arrested accused Mr Magu of corruption and insincerity, as he was ‘panicking’ because his confirmation by the Senate had been deferred and he was suspecting any and everyone for his problem. The report also accused Mr Magu of high-handedness and bullying of staff.
