In a post on his Facebook wall, Omoyele Sowore, the publisher of Sahara Reporters reported that agents of the State Security Services invaded his family home in Ese-Odo LGA in Ondo state during the governorship elections in Ondo state According to Sowore, the agents invaded his family home in search of his brother who they claimed was ‘troublesome’.
His brother, Akinwunmi Sowore is an Alliance for Democracy (AD) supporter.
The said brother was eventually trailed, arrested, detained and kept incommunicado by the invading DSS agents. He described the invasion as an act of desperation by the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) Party. His brother was later released.
