Prominent social media activist, Ibrahim Garuba Wala known as IG Wala reported on his Facebok page that military men at Deidei checkpoint in Kano blocked citizens who are attending the Occupy National Assembly protest and kidnapped them. The kidnapped citizens were thought to suspected Shittes members. They were later released after a sustained social media activism.
