This report sums up the proceedings at the one-day public forum on Citizenship, Civic Spaces and Civil Society in Nigeria, held on February 28, 2017, in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria. The public forum forms part of a broader strategy for gathering information from a  wide spectrum of non-profit stakeholders in order to gauge public responses to the multiplication of oversight regimes regulating the civil society and non-profit organizations (NPOs) in Nigeria.
